goat questins

Hi
I keep my 4 angora goat on about 3rd of an acrea. They are smallish goats but they do stay in the barn a bit as angoras cant get wet.
They eat about 1 bale of hay between them per week plus 1 sack goat mix lasts about a month (about 2 handfulls each per day)
I also give them veg each day and cut forrage if they are stuck in for a couple of days.
I think you can manage them on quite a small plot if you are happy to give suplimentary feed.
Oh mine also have lick in winter.
Dont know if any of this helps. Just wanted to say hi to other goat lovers really.

Pygmy goats are great. If bred, the does produce a delicious, creamy milk. It's perfect for cheese. I like them because of their small size and ease of maintenance. Wonderful little creatures!
