Hey - what was your end result? pullets or cockerels or some & some? I have a 3 or 4 week old buff-laced Brahma and he's (she's?) the quietest and has fewest feathers of any of my chicks. Also she/he gets very upset about being handled but once I pull him from the pen he just freezes up and sits still on the towel for hours beside me when i'm working...strangest chick for sure! never goes to explore the room like the others. He's also the only one who doesn't have at least 1 other chick of the same breed to hang with. Hopefully the 2 buff-laced brahma eggs I have in the incubator will hatch and he'll have some same-kind friends. ...
