Bully Rooster

I'm beginning to wonder if he is the reason that the hens aren't laying. I'm going to separate them again for a while and see if he is keeping them too stressed out.

Maybe Im too late to answer but I always wish more people would answer me even if its late! Right now Im having a little the same issue. I separated my rooster a couple days. Today I left the flock of 7 11-week old wyandottes have a run of the whole backyard and they were fine.Problem is I cant leave them unattended.Ive noticed my bullying problems are usually partly boredom. I just feel horrible making him stay in a cage by himself but it worked. I hope you have met with equal good success in one way or other

Welcome to BYC! It's great to have you.

I've seen a few like this. There's nothing that can be done to curb the behavior. In all cases they should be culled or given to someone who will cull them, or they will continue to hurt and harass hens.
