Help!! Barred rock or not?

I bought this girl (I hope!) as a 2 month old barred, or so I was told. She is now 3 months. I noticed that her eyes are lighter than my barred and her neck feathers are really long comparatively. Also. Her feet are not as yellow. In one pic you will see her next to my barred. Can someone tell me what she might be??

If this bird was truly 2 months at purchase and is now 3 months it is not a female based on the development of comb and wattle size/color -- unfortunately, there is no way to know if the bird was truly 2 months at the time you got it.

That is dependent on the lines from which the birds are bred -and is why I questioned the actual age of the bird. If this is a 3 month old bird it is a dark cockerel or a cockerel of mixed breeding who has wound up with barred patterning -- if the bird is older (4+ months) then it is a pullet nearing production.
