. Mama hatched 4 and abandoned the rest of the eggs. I was going to put them in the incubator but when I picked up the first one a tiny bill was poking out!!! I carefully peeled the shell off. His back and tail were stuck to the shell so I figured he'd been that way for awhile. I moistened the stick parts carefully and today he is 1 week old!! 1 of the original 4 died the first night but is till have 4 ducklings now. I brought one inside so "Miracle" would have a buddy.
