Can you tell me what breed and possibly gender this is?

I am new to this forum...and to owning chickens! Does anyone know what breed this might be (the gold and black one)? Also, can you tell if it is a roo or hen? I know it's a little early...but it's tail is just so different than the others (which are different breeds though), that I thought I would ask

Thank you! I've never heard of the breed, but after looking it up it does look like it!! Can I ask, how you can tell if it's a cockerel?

He's still feathering in, and that comb is already very developed and bright red. Pullets, regardless of breed, do not start to turn red until they are close to laying age.

Shoulders seem a little too red with too little black.
