My status is "New Egg"... I see people with statuses like "Just Hatched" And "Flock Master". I just joined so I knew I would be a new egg but HOW LONG UNTIL MY STATUS IS "Just Hatched"?! I wanna knoooowwww

It goes by how many posts you post. The change requirements are listed somewhere. Let me see if I can locate it.

I just went from "New Egg" To "Just Hatched" To "Out Of The Brooder" In a week
I've been a new egg forever! Only have 18posts though.

I got an error when I clicked on the link Outpost (probably just a hiccup on my end), so here's a 'cut and paste' of the counts needed to change your title:
You will move:
from 'New Egg' to 'Just Hatched': 25 posts
from 'Just Hatched' to 'Out of The Brooder: 50 posts
from 'Out of The Brooder' to 'Chillin' with my Peeps': 150 posts
from 'Chillin' with my Peeps' to 'Overrun with Chickens': 500 posts
from 'Overrun with Chickens' to 'Chicken Obsessed': 1000 posts
from 'Chicken Obsessed' to 'True BYC Addict': 2500 posts
from 'True BYC Addict' to 'Flock Master': 5000 posts
Once you get involved in a thread or forum, you'd be surprised how fast the counts can go up.

So, we have to make a bunch of posts to change our status? Gosh, I don't have that kind of time, really....I mean, I come to see what people post, get my questions answered without posting. Guess I'll just be a new egg for good....whatever...
Very true. You can check out the trending threads by clicking on the top right corner that says "New Posts". I can agree with not having time.....4 kids, 3 grandkids, full time job, disabled hubby, 120+ chickens, dog, cat, rabbits, fixing dinner, cleaning house, who has a spare moment for anything? I have subscribed to a few of the threads & I check in when I can.....usually once a week on my only day off work. But some how, I have made it to the "true addict" stage.
