Probably most husbands would like naked chicks....
2015 HALLOWEEN Hatch-a-Long, Join us IF YOU DARE! - Page 241
Can you imagine them living in the hot hot areas..Arizona, New Mexico..etc? The would need sunscreen! Yeah, I would worry about them in our winter here too..although, pretty sure I wouldn't be getting any too soon. :p
I tried hatching some a few months back, I only got one, thought it was a cockeral, but..it's a girl!
When I'm hatching out certain matings or wanting to know which run ( by rooster) I use those big I think they are a 3 quart size clear containers that strawberries come in. They have the air holes and work great. I put as many eggs that fit in them without too much crowding. I even use the smaller ones if I can't get the bigger ones.
thats a great idea! some people also use them for boredom busters in the coops in the winter
oh crap! I hope I run into pics as I read on!!!
love it!!!!! you should be proud!!!
I didn't say that..nope..but it is funny!
I candled all 30 eggs last night..and they are all doing well. What in the world..that is a lot of chicks! Thing I worry about though, is that those air sacs are very very small. :/ I didn't hardly have any moisture going on, still don't. Like I said about this new bator, it sure holds the temp and humidity. Will remember this next time. There are some that are perfect size for 11 days..now 12..but will see. I hope those air sacs can still get larger!
Oh, I didn't realize there were two Cynthia's in here! Hahaha, sorry for the confusion! @TJChickens name is Cynthia as well! (:
Oh! Cool, Cynthia is a great name. Yep!
