oh man do I have pictures! let me try to turn them into a collage so I don't flood the thread with boars head photos haha
Making the head
finshing it up. the white in the second severed dead photo will dry clear and make the gore look fresh and wet, but they needed it before it was dry so i don't have a pic of it dry.
will edit again to add Harry Potter Prop Pictures
We live in NH, so we don't usually get snakes other than garter snakes, I did see two rats- we just moved where their run is and we dug into the hill and I think we tore up a nest. Weirdest part is that one of them is a pink eyed white, so obviously it is an escaped pet, I havent owned PEW rats for over 2 years so I am super impressed it survived 2 NH winters- but they have to go either way. I am having a beast of a time catching them though, they have no interest in have-a-hearts and I am too afraid to use snap traps near the chickens, or just out in the open since I have cats wandering around. Weasels are a possibility though I haven't seen them, but I can't imagine anything larger than a rat or weasel getting in the coop.
that is freaking cool!!!! so now I KNOW you could win all those contests now that I seen what you can do! have you entered them all!
glad I am not the only one that delt with this today goodness what a day!!
Hello all @CaseyV Thanks for bringing me over here Now I just need to read read read and catch up
I set eggs on the 16th so I will be a post hatch-a-long hatcher. My second attempt at incubating eggs. I was just telling Casey that I went overboard this time. 39 total eggs, all shipped:
18 Lavender Orpingtons from breeder #1
14 Lavender Orpingtons from breeder #2
7 Jubilee Orpingtons from breeder #3
Candled day 7 yesterday:
#1 a few questionable, most clear
#2 6 very active embryos
#3 all seem clear
Hey!!! welcome!!! good job Casey!!! no need to catch up! what do you want to know just ask! lol we can fill you in! My girls are due to finish their molting in a month. Been such a long molt (their first ever!) and in the meantime I've been fixing up the coop some to make it nicer. Mite problem is being managed, so the new coop can wait for spring. I'm installing a sand tray under the roosts to catch poo, so Sally I may be able to give word on if that's more helpful!
AAAAH SO MANY CHICK PICS! I love it!
That would be awesome if you tried it and let me know!!! dont forget me please lol!!!
