My last one, that hatched this morning, was close to 24 hrs.  Sometimes they are a little longer.  Listen for chirping, will help you wait.  Wait for it..wait for it..........

Well I woke up to a possible pip I can't tell because it's on the bottom of the egg

Oh my! is the egg in a carton? If so, and it is pipped in the small end, you will likely need to work with that egg--the first thing to do is to move it so that the pip is up. Also make sure that there is no ooze coming out of the pip. If so, you will need to clear the goop.

The second one actually holds temps so perfect that I never even have to touch it! I think it's like anything, the first one may just be finicky & an attention sucker

Thanks! I seem to be getting one hatch each. I don't know if that's decent or not. They hold them upright on end & don't auto turn but I just slip a deck of cards under each of the 3 legs rotating all day whenever I am home. I'm thinking of getting a Brinsea...maybe...I don't know if I am that bit by the chicken bug yet...but maybe

... I may want to hatch a muscovy sometime...

Not that bit by the chicken bug...? What?!! Of course you are, or we're not doing a good enough job with our enabling! We'll have to step it up a notch~

Darn right, I'm already trying to figure out ways to hide a second coop on my yard to try and get a pure flock going.

I'm pretty sure my turner is going wonky. I lock down tomorrow at 9am. I candled a because I just realized the turner isn't working the way it should. It had been fine until last night. I have eggs that look fuller than full and then a few that still have quite a bit of room in them. I'm assuming those will hatch first and the others will be on schedule for day 21?They are all bantam/LF cross. All of the eggs show movement and have great veins. My one saddled aircell hasn't gotten any bigger and the other air cells are on track for tomorrow lockdown. First time incubating and I'm getting nervous. Lol
