So is your little guilt trippin' chickie... way too cute!!
I have a question for the group, interested to hear the opinions. The pullets I have are 7 months old, one of my EEs Snow is on the bottom of the pecking order, in fact would not come out of the coop today until everyone else was out. My question is when my chicks hatch should I bring Snow in to be with them so she is not the bottom of the older pecking order or is that a bad idea because she might pick on the babies. Like I said interested to hear opinions on this.
Thanks
My lowest hen picks on the younger chicks. I didn't let them spend too much time together until the chicks were about 6 weeks old. They had hiding spots from her. Now that she's established third in line, she's better with the other pullets and chicks. I'm not sure I can answer your question exactly. Snow will figure out that she's higher than the chicks. Is she laying? My lowest hen integrated much better once she started laying.
So Adorable.
