My Muscovy has been broody now for about a month. We have taken eggs away, even when she wants to sit on the Blue Swedish hen's eggs which are non fertilized. We have broken up the nest several times, shut the door to the coop so she has to stay out with the other duck and Silkies, but yet she continues to want to sit in the coop. She is very nasty to us and when she does come out she chases the Blue Swedish around and even bites and picks at her. Before she was submissive to the Swedish, even acting like the Swedish is the drake... very strange.
How do we get her to come out and be part of the group again? Winter will be here soon and she is missing out on the warm days where she is able to free range sitting in the coop.
