Hi folks, I'm a long-time reader, first time poster.
I am located in rural Florida, outside Gainesville. Due to safety concerns with regard to the level of care they will receive after I leave, I need to rehome one beautiful and extremely friendly 6mo Bearded Belgian D'Uccle bantam hen, and three 6 week old chicks: Lavender Orpington, Sultan, and Gold Lace Polish. The sex of the chicks is indeterminate to me at this age, but here are some photos.

I have been hand raising the three chicks in my bedroom (with a near 24-hour human presence, since I work from home) since they arrived as day-olds, and all of them are tame, charming and healthy. The Sultan arrived from the hatchery with a slightly bent toe. I kept an eye on it, but it does not seem to affect her running or walking or grooming in the least. The Lavender is already extremely human-bonded and actively seeks me out to hop on my hands or shoulder, sleep in my lap, etc. The Polish is high strung as Polish always are, but has been handled gently every day and is happy eating from hands and perching/socializing if you make allowances for the Polish personality. The Sultan is a fluffy little darling. Not as forward as the Lavender, but not fearful like the Polish. They are eating a variety of treats with gusto, have access to grit, and have been on a chick crumble diet with electrolyte-boosted water since they arrived. The bantam hen is named Beans, and she is an absolute doll. She is about 4-6mos, hasn't started laying yet, and loves sitting in laps, on shoulders, and petting. She is extremely beautiful. In short, they appear to be in perfect health with excellent personalities.
I need to rehome these birds, preferably all of them, before the 25th of September. I cannot ship or deliver, because I am without a car and miles away from the nearest post office. I would take them away with me but I'm only visiting, and have no land for them back home.
