I have a 5 month old sultan roo named Bubbles that isn't crowing yet. He has saddle feathers, a large and red comb, and will stand tall and flap his wings, but no crowing.
He still peeps most of the time, and the pullets that are younger than him are now clucking and will lay soon.
Another rooster that I gave away earlier that was hatchmates with Bubbles has been crowing for quite a while, according to his current owner.

I do have two other roosters, but they ignore Bubbles.

What's the latest you have had a rooster crow? Thanks.

These pics are a little old, he's a little bigger and his comb is way larger now.

Mine crow (well, according to them it is i guess) every morning when i let the flock out of the coop. They are 11 weeks old, so you can imagine how pathetic the crowing actually is. They only manage one crow per day it seems, but in your case, the presence of other crowing roos will inhibit his crowing (unless he likes getting a good pecking and chasing around) so maybe he prefers not to wind up getting a good beating by your others.

He started crowing a week after the day he turned 6 months old and never missed a beat. Thanks!
