chick with bad leg

he just hatched Thursday and won't stand on the leg, it kinda turns out he gets around. It is warm like the other one and the joint is red compared to the other. What can I do short term to help him and long term
 
Start some poultry vitamins in the chicks' water right away that contains riboflavin (vitamin B2)in case of a deficiency.There could be a leg bone deformity or a tendon problem. Splinting may help also. Google "poultry pedia podiatry" for some reading about splinting.
