Pretty hen!

That appears to be an Easter Egger, which is basically an Ameraucana cross-breed. They are mutts in their own way, but I love them, they are so beautiful! They usually have pea combs, but since they are crosses, they can have other types of combs as well.

Mixed breed.

Breeder of Dutch bantams, Wyandotte bantams, and a few exhibition rabbits.

Feel free to ask me questions about chicken and rabbit care, breeds, and showing! I'm always happy to help!

Nature's first green is gold,

Her hardest hue to hold.

Her early leaf's a flower

But only so an hour.

Then leaf subsides to leaf.

So Eden sank to grief,

So dawn goes down to day.

Nothing gold can stay. --Robert Frost
