ahhh.......

running joke down here in south Texas, anything north of Interstate 10 is dang near Yankee land, and anything south of highway 59 is Mexico.

@WVduckchick

Mornin' to ya... 70 degrees feels great, but it's terrible to hunt deer in; poor thing would be cooked b4 it got hung up.

Try the 90 degrees that is Utah's archery season. It cooks me!

This morning is 32 degrees and cloudy. Looks like a great morning to sneak in some fall turkey hunting before work, if my buddy drives fast and gets here

I'll raise you the 90 degrees, in south Texas, and add mosquitoes and 100% humidity.

The only time I have ever been to Texas was a conference in Corpus Christi. We flew in, so that was the only town I saw. Not exactly the kind of place that you want to give someone the impression of your entire state

ehh, Corpus has some great stuff.

think small coastal, fishing town that is grown up. lol

if you travel south a little bit, great beach with not too many folks, very large area between water and the dunes, which makes for safer family times, as kids and cars driving on the beach can be dangerous.

they also have an aquarium, and US battleship, the Lexington, and a minor league baseball team, with a outstanding stadium.

but yeah, flying into their "international" airport, and stayin in the interior of the town, I'm sure it leaves allot lacking. lol
