I have a large pet water bottle. The kind mainly used for rats, mice, guinea pigs, hamsters, etc. Only this one was made for puppies
so its a pretty large sized bottle with a large spout. Could I put feed it it and use it for a chicken feeder? Would it help keep them from wasting feed? Their feed is the texture of grounded chick starter so its not bulky like layer crumble or pellets. I have another of these bottles I use for giving water to my serama mix rooster and hen. They drink from it like champs. Really keeps the water mess down and they learned to use it quickly like almost instantly. So if I could use one for a feeder I bet they would learn quickly how to eat from it. Please give me feedback or other ideas help too, I really need help finding a feeder they can't knock over to scatter feed everywere, step into and dirty, and kick junk into. I want them to eat their feed not toss it all over lol! They are small chickens so I don't want something huge. Thanks. :)
P.S Sorry if this was posted to the wrong forums. xP

I'm attaching a photo of a pet bottle similar to the kind I own.
