Peachick not eating....

Had a single peachick hatch last week on the 13th and 2 more on the 19th.  The later ones are twice the size of the first one and now it won't eat.  I tried egg but to no avail.  It was getting a fecal mat but it does have probiotics and electrolytes in water.  Not sure what can be done.  Perhaps naval ill?  Has an odor so thinking what is the problem.

It is an unrelated bird that I ordered from hatching egg so hoping it will survive darn it.

Does it feel like it has a bloated belly?

No bloated belly but it had a messy bottom all the time. It did end up dying yesterday evening though. Failure to thrive for whatever reason...My hatches from my own Peafowl are doing well.  Just can't seem to get other lines this year.  Will try again next summer I guess *sigh*.

Thanks,

Kimber

Thanks Kathy....so excited to finally get one to hatch after several tries with other shipped eggs only to lose that one too. My own have done well but maybe because I used a combination of hen/incubator.

Hoping to get my Silver Pied for next year....(one that died was IB)
