She/he is four months old and none of my other chickens have a comb as large and red as hers. No crowing so far, and she's definitely not the top of the pecking order.

Three dogs, one rabbit, a ton of fish, and five pullets: one Welsummer/Production Red mix, two Easter Eggers, one Black Sexlink, and a White Old English Game Bantam.

Looks like a close-to-laying pullet to me.

Breeder of Dutch bantams, Wyandotte bantams, and a few exhibition rabbits.

Feel free to ask me questions about chicken and rabbit care, breeds, and showing! I'm always happy to help!

They have their exits and their entrances,
And one man in his time plays many parts."

Pullet

I set fire to the rain! Watch it pour as I, touched your face. Well it burn while I cried, because I heard it screaming out your name. And I threw us into flames. I knew that was the last time, the last time...I set fire to the rain! -Adele

That is a lovely point-of-lay pullet

Where are we going, and why are we in this hand basket?

Oh my gosh, yay! That's the best news I've heard all day. Her hips bones are definitely much wider than my other girls to the point that she looks almost comical. This is so exciting!
