Where is best place to buy baby chicks this time of year

Where is the best place to buy baby chicks at this time of year In Kansas.....? Are hatcheries still selling and shipping baby chicks.. any Local hatchery's near Wichita KS?
 
I just received an order from Ideal Poultry yesterday. The chicks were shipped Tuesday and I received them Thursday morning in excellent condition. I'm very pleased. We went with them because all of the other hatcheries didn't have the exact mix of breeds available that we wanted or were way more expensive.
 
I want to get more chicks next year was just wondering how murray mcmurray hatchery was and how people like there service
 
I've only ordered from McMurray, so I can't compare hatcheries, but I have been very happy with them. They could be a little better on their tracking, but 2 times; first were 13 healthy ducklings, and the second one was 16 healthy chicks. All of them have had no health problems and gave grown up to be beautiful specimens. They gave me a freebie in each batch too, and my freebie roo is an absolute doll :)

Very happy with McMurray. Prices are reasonable too :)

I'm a MMM girl, love that hatchery. I've had decent luck with Ideal, but you have to watch the packing peanuts....I don't want those! MMM doesn't do that. Be warned, though, the free "exotic" chick is quite likely going to be a male, so don't accept that offer unless you can keep a rooster.
 
Thanks for the input I figured that Mcmurray was good but the info was helpful most likely have some more babies in the spring

Lol I love how they do that... Ooh exotic! ...in other words, "We saved it from death and sent it to you, congrats its a boy!"
