In the Brooder
Hello,
I have a BA roo who was supposed to be a girl. We knew by about 7 weeks that he was a roo, but he only just figured out how to really crow and seems quite pleased with his new talent. We technically could keep him where we are, but I'd rather keep peace with the neighbors. He is still sweet with the girls and my kids. I call him my puppy dog because he begs shamelessly for treats. If he were mean, I would just send him to the soup pot, but since he's a sweetie, I'd rather try to find him a happy home where he can do his rooster thing where it is more appreciated. He is so gorgeous and I hate to have to give him up, but we just don't have the distance to make it work. If you're in the Bay Area and interested, let me know.
Jackie
Ps he is from the feed store so he probably doesn't have top-of-the-line genes, but if you aren't showing, he should be fine. I'll try to get a new picture today.
