Hi All.
Hoping you can help me with a gender question for this young Australorp. I think he is a boy, I only have one other to compare to and they look very similar bodywise, but this one has a bigger comb and wattle.
Thank you muchly!

I'm thinking cockerel.

It's a cockerel. With those brown feathers in the neck area, it's not a pure Australorp either.

Cockerel

I set fire to the rain! Watch it pour as I, touched your face. Well it burn while I cried, because I heard it screaming out your name. And I threw us into flames. I knew that was the last time, the last time...I set fire to the rain! -Adele

Cockerel.

Breeder of Dutch bantams, Wyandotte bantams, and a few exhibition rabbits.

Feel free to ask me questions about chicken and rabbit care, breeds, and showing! I'm always happy to help!

Nature's first green is gold,

Her hardest hue to hold.

Her early leaf's a flower

But only so an hour.

Then leaf subsides to leaf.

So Eden sank to grief,

So dawn goes down to day.

Nothing gold can stay. --Robert Frost
