Pecking at tail

Thread Starter
I noticed one of my 6 chickens was having her tail pecked. She also has some black specks around her tail and but. Any idea what could be causing this or what I should do?

Black specks I would check for mites, otherwise you should find out who's pecking her and why, boredom, crowding and lack of protein are some of the main reasons. With sex links I would think protein, because of their high production. Switching to a higher protein feed might help.
