is my hen broody she lokks like it but laid an egg

Hi, i have a hen that i think is broody she is showing all the signs she has been sitting now for three days and didn't lay which i thought was normal as i read that they stop laying but today i found an egg under her it made me think does this mean she is not broody it was hers for sure i have her separated any info is appreciated this is my first broody and i am waiting on fertile eggs for her tomorrow

Signs of a broody:

She will rip out her feathers on her brest/belly area.
She will sit on the nest constantly. I remove my broody hens once or twice a day to drink, eat and poop.
She will poop a MASSIVE huge poop.
Usually they will have a special low cluck when they are off the nest.
They will fight to keep you off of their eggs (usually).
Mine broodies have laid an egg or two after her brood hatches. Then soon after the egg is laid, she no longer wants to sit on the nest.

I've had broodies quit 1/2 way through. Make sure you have an incubator for a back up plan

I had one broody that was very faithful, but I was new to the process. I did not candle the eggs and on day 19, a rotten egg exploded under her. It ruined the whole bunch of eggs.

My hen is showing all of the above signs i have her on 5 golfballs at the moment and am getting fertile eggs tomorrow i only have 6 hens so a incubator and brooder are very expensive i probably won't buy them i just hope she sits long enough to hatch them its mine and hers first time fingers crossed
