Turkey questions!!

Hi ya'll, I have a few questions regarding my turkeys...

My first question is - do Bourbon red turkeys darken with age? I have a young turkey that hatched June 14th of this year (so... 13 weeks old-ish) and it's got some questionable colour! I've never raised turkeys so I don't know when they get their 'adult' plumage.

Second slightly more embarrassing question, I can't tell if this is a he or a she. I wanted to say girl for the last forever, but now Turkey Turkey is dancing around like a tom... but no beard! I'm just not sure! Again, I am a turkey novice XD

Third question... for now... I really want to get a slate male for my slate gal Sky. She doesn't like my Bourbon Tom (Spartacus) at all, (at least not to breed) and she gets bullied around by Reba, my bourbon gal. I would split them up though, as the person I got the trio from in the first place was only selling them because Spartacus killed the Slate male she had and she was completely horrified. What are the best places to look for a slate tom, and or does anyone (close to my location) have a slate tom?

Well that solves one mystery XD Do you know if he will get darker - and by darker I mean more solid in colour, not like all blotchy like currently with the white?

Yes they do darken with age.
