Which one of these things is not like the other?

All,

I ordered three buff orpingtons.  I believe I have two.  What do you all think this buffed colored one with the white markings is?  My buffs are below.  The girl in question is the one in the nesting boxes with the barred rocks.

Thanks!

This red one looks like a red sexlink pullet. They look very similar to Buff Orpingtons as chicks.

Red Sex-link.

Breeder of Dutch bantams, Wyandotte bantams, and a few exhibition rabbits.

Feel free to ask me questions about chicken and rabbit care, breeds, and showing! I'm always happy to help!

I agree. RSLs are laying machines. You should get loads of large, brown eggs from that girl. :o)

I set fire to the rain! Watch it pour as I, touched your face. Well it burn while I cried, because I heard it screaming out your name. And I threw us into flames. I knew that was the last time, the last time...I set fire to the rain! -Adele

What they said :). I think you'll be pretty happy with her despite getting the wrong breed. As Michael said, they're laying machines and overall pretty nice backyard birds. And the bonus is, she's definitely a she! she may quite possibly be your first layer, I've had red sex links start laying as soon as 16 weeks, kinda freaked me out.
