I have not made it but this is an idea:

Punch 3-4 holes in the rim of a pie pan. Then tie string to the holes and hang the feeder of the ground.

Also,. These are pritty cheep on amazon:  http://www.amazon.com/BAFX-Products%C2%AE-Poultry-chickens-hatching/dp/B004NEIS1M/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1443619543&sr=8-3&keywords=nipple+chicken+waterer.

You can mount them on the bottom of a bucket or jug and hang it from the celling. They keep the water clean.

Hope this helps!

There are also a ton of ideas on the DIY thread, and believe me, there's a lot to peruse there!

I made this feeder out of rain gutter.

Great article on VENTILATION, one of THE MOST IMPORTANT aspects of coop design.

Fantastic treatise to help decide how much SPACE your chickens need.

Chicken math is not just 'addition'...but also should include Division, Multiplication and especially Subtraction!!!
