They are hardy little cookies you really can't hurt them if your careful. Get dh to help first time after that you'll be a pro. Heck I've been clipping wings now for 11 yrs. My daddy showed me how..  He lived on a farm when he was a youngster. 


11 years of wing clipping - you know what you're doing! You only have to do one wing per bird, right? And then the other wing the next year?

Just 1 wing it keeps them off balance when trying to fly. I usually clip the same wing every year once they molt and grow back their new flight feathers it doesn't matter. Being a lefty it's just easier for me to do left wing.

My husband is a leftie too! So I suppose the fate of which wing will fall on which tw of us does the job. :)

Yep, maybe switch off and on each year lol Duckie won't care as long as you get it over with and let her go.
