Most of your birds, at 17 weeks and at this time of year aren't likely to lay for several weeks or even months.

What breed/s?

Well, all I can say is that they aren't laying machines. Egg laying is ovulation. Does anyone know if ovulation in humans is like clockwork from the onset? I think not.

Brown leghorns or layers of brown eggs?

17 weeks is extremely young to start laying, especially at this time of year.
