My hen CONSTANTLY has a bare bum.. Her bottom also stays swollen a little. There is no egg there or fluid nothing. Been treated for worms, lice, and mites.. But whatever we do, her bottom stays bare..

Oh boy. I thought mine has some sort of mites. We have the same problem, I don't want to worry you, but one of ours which was like that died last night. We may be taking the body to the vet later on so if I do, I will give you some info.

Thank you! My hen has been like this for a good while. She eats, drinks, and lays just fine.. But she constantly has a larger behind and constantly bare. No egg stuck nor fluid

Thank you for using my link. Sadly we thought it was fly strike at first too, BUT it's not. Never lead to maggots, or wounds, or nothing. I'm just so confused. Can u pm me a picture of what your girl's looked like?

Also when you touch, pet, or handle her. Then a bunch of feathers just fall off of her. However I know it's not molting
