I feed my chickens (4 hens and 1 rooster) Purina Flock Raiser. I found out that i should offer oyster shells free choice for my hens. Im not able to get that atm so i took about 12 egg shells and dried them in the oven then crushed them into very small peices. Then i fed them to my hens and mixed a little in there food my question is will the egg shells be to much for my rooster? If so ill delute the egg shells with more feed. Thank you.
