Weird partial soft shell with lots and lots of bumps - Page 2

I got an egg with a soft side today. I'm guessing one of the girls isn't getting enough calcium despite it being provided. :(

If it's only one bird of many on the same diet, then it most likely is a genetic defect of the bird laying the malformed eggs.

Great article on VENTILATION, one of THE MOST IMPORTANT aspects of coop design.

Fantastic treatise to help decide how much SPACE your chickens need.

 

Chicken math is not just 'addition'...but also should include Division, Multiplication and especially Subtraction!!!
