I can't see his legs, but if they are yellow I agree that Hector is a Bielefelder cockerel.

Yes they are all yellow like a leghorns

Where did you get him? There isn't just a ton of Bielefelders out there. I never understand why, when someone posts a pic asking what it is, people start rattling off super rare breeds.

I ask because he "looks" like one. The family who got him at 2 days old was told he was an "Ameraucana", but is obviously not true.

If he was sold as an Ameraucana, he's a mixed breed bird. The problem with breeds like the Bielefelders is they're an easy look to mimic simply by crossing a barred bird and a red bird. But just as all black dogs aren't Labs, all black and red barred birds aren't Bielefelders.
I believe the coloring on a Bielefelder is cuckoo over a black breasted red, so a rooster should have a black breast. OPs bird is red breasted, so the base color is wrong.
