My granddaughter will be envious. She's wanting to go snow sledding for the first time in her life. )
Oooh hopefully you get snow soon for her to go sledding in!

I hope so as well. At this point the forecast is for snow next Wednesday, but the forecasts can change from day to day around here (sometimes even hourly).
Oh don't I understand that! The weather forecasts are constantly changing here as well.
We both live in Rocky Mountain areas, so I suspect that there are a lot of similarities in our climates and weather forecasts (at least normally). )
We got an unexpected few snow flurries that stuck on our place (the first this year to stick) last night although not enough to really do anything with. I took a couple of pics (the top two photos) of the thin layer of snow laying on the house, car, and ground). Of course the Rockies that overlook the north and east side of our valley have loads of snow on top of them. I took the bottom pic of the Rocky Mountain backdrop overlooking the east side of our valley a couple of weeks ago. I posted these same pics on Yorkshire coop's thread at https://www.backyardchickens.com/t/1051425/share-your-snow-scene-pictures#post_16086972. My granddaughter is really hoping that the forecast for snow next Wednesday comes through big time and she can get out the sled. )I look froward to seeing your winter pics!
