4 weeks old green-egged! Sex?!?!

Hello all!

Meet Alphie. A 4 weeks old green-egger that my broody hatched. I was wondering if you can already determine the sex of the chick?

So, take a guess... Is it a she or a he?

It's too young to sex with any certainty of accuracy. I would suggest re-posting its pic again in about 3-4 weeks. By then its gender should be much more obvious.

It's not screaming cockerel at this point, but it's too young to say pullet with certainty. I'd also say post again around 6-8 weeks to confirm.

It is too young to sex for sure, but I don't see any obvious cockerel signs yet.

Being an Easter egger, I'd say pullet. Normally blue Easter eggers develop brick red or copper shoulders and saddles.
