sorry if this is short 3rd attempt at typing this out and not getting it posted before something crashes.
ok 3 days ago i found 2 of my hens rhode island red bantams 13 weeks old was laying on their sides with their legs stuck out and the other chickens were pecking at their leg. I removed them from the others soon as i saw this., They had noticable injury on their legs it was missing feather but not a lot of blood. I kinda think they scratched each other and then the other chickens started pecking their injuries. they both were able to make it in thier house at night and back out in the morning. Their house is 3 feet off the ground and requires them to climb a long board to get in. They can move the hurt leg. They are eating and drinking and pooing fine. I have been putting neosporin on the legs a starting giving them metronidazole antibiotic yesterday. All the other chickens are acting fine. These have been a brooder box for 3 days now. I don't think is Mareks because there are able to move both legs well just seems to be really sore to them. They don't seem to be getting any worse or any better in the 3 days i been treating them. Any suggestions on what else to do or might be wrong?
