Is this a female or male? Or is it to early to tell. Not sure of age, was gave to me about a month ago. It's still small, but has grown double in size in a month

It appears to have mature feathers. If there is a light lower edge on the breast feathers it is a hen.  If the breast feathers do not have a light colored lower edge it is a tom.  Since I can't see its breast feathers, I cannot tell which it is.

Welsummers, mixed breed chickens, Blue Slate turkeys, Sweetgrass turkeys and guineas.

In wonderful Wyoming.

I don't see any feathers on the back of it's neck and head so I'm thinking it's a Tom from this perspective.
Chickens, muscovy ducks, turkeys, donkeys , goats, dogs, fish, parakeets, a parrot, and a cat.

Chickens and dogs are healing to the soul.

I brake for squirrels.

Some of my birds.
