Cockerels.

Breeder of Dutch bantams, Wyandotte bantams, and a few exhibition rabbits.

Feel free to ask me questions about chicken and rabbit care, breeds, and showing! I'm always happy to help!

And all the men and women merely players;
They have their exits and their entrances,
And one man in his time plays many parts."

Well, if she's insisting on b/w pullets out of pure RIR roosters..  then she is talking utter nonsense and hopeless for further accurate information. That's blunt, but needs to be said since you seem interested in information.

Gold male(which RIR are) bred over silver females(which is what light brahma are) has been universally proven to throw silver cockerels and gold pullets due to the sex linked nature of the silver gene.

If you really want to know, the link donrae posted is an excellent way to start.
