I'm FINALLY getting my RV in the next week, I'm so excited. Once it's gutted, I'm coating the inside with Blackjack #57. Best part is, I got it for free. It was sitting on the deer lease next to ours, and I finally caught the guy that owns it. Asked him where he got it, and if he still uses it. He said if you want it, and will haul it off, you can have it. I need to change a tire, but otherwise it's road ready.

So does anyone here know what is the best way to use the DL method in an RV? Add dirt from under my trees first, right? Then start layering?

Here's pics. I'm making one side for my silkies and broody chickens, and the other side is for the larger chicken breeds. I am so happy to have found one with 2 doors. They will each get their own run. The big cabinet thing in the middle will be the only thing staying. It will be my storage closet.

Nice find! Can't wait to see the finished project. Even though I put Black Jack down in my one chicken tractor, I chose not to use the DL method (wouldn't work with my set-up as the door to each coop opens inwards and that would be a lot of litter to have to push out of the way). I have clean out hatches that I open and sweep the shavings/litter into a wheelbarrow and wheel it to the manure pit. Good luck with the project!
