Looking for some help IDing these 3. The rooster would be a RIR, however the mother could be either a RIR (1 in the flock) or production Red (7 in the flock)

This one is about 3.5 months. Coloring is close to the production Red hens in the flock.

Same age as the one above, but I'd lean toward cockerel.

This one is about 2.5 months. Next to it is a Black Sex Link, which were much easier to ID...

The first one looks like a Rhode Island Red crossed with a red sexlink hen. It's a cockerel.
The second one looks like a Production Red cockerel.
I can't tell from the photo if the last one is male or female.

I'm thinking what you're calling production reds may actually be red sex links. The first bird is a classic red sex link x red bird mix, and a cockerel. The second bird is a Red cockerel, and the third bird is a Red pullet.

Hey there.

The first two look like Roosters. The large red combs and wattles, strong powerful legs and long thin hackle feathers are a dead giveaway. The third is probably a pullet/hen. the comb and wattles are small and pale, and the feathers seem to be more rounder and wider. Also, the third one hasn't started to develop sickle-shaped tail feathers, a trait only seen in Roosters-unless it is a rumpless (or tailless) breed.

First two are boys. First appears to be a second generation sexlink. They do not breed true, so it explains the color.

The second is what a hatchery calls a Rhode island red. But is a very poorly bred bird called a production red.

4th appears to be the same and a pullet with that.

Agreed
