Tell me about your Silkie sexing techniques.

While I know the best way to sex a Silkie is to wait for an egg or a crow, I did see a few people who swear by the shape of their beak and a couple other unconventional ways to guess the sex before the definitive cock-a-doodle-doo. So... Just for fun, do you guys have any methods you use to guess the sex of your Silkies? These are my first Silkies and we just love them!
First, Slimy Bob. His beak is outrageous...

Next, is Pretty Boy.

Then P-Dawg

And Nugget.

Last, is Booger who I REALLY hope is a pretty pullet!

Booger wasn't having the photo shoot

Well, anyway, here's Slimy Bob again, always peeking at me. I figure either he's a rooster, or a really angry-looking hen.

I am having the same problem as you!!  I would like to know some techniques for sexing silkies as well.  Super jelly of your colors!  All the guy had left was buff and partridge so that is what I have, but hoping for more in the spring!  Love Slimy Bob he is gorgeous and has that same mean look as my big guy lol!

Look at their feather crests, and see if there's any extra long, skinny feathers sticking out of the crest. If there is, it is most likely a cockerel. If the crest is more even and rounder, it's most likely a pullet.
