Leghorn stopped laying after a month.

The title says it all. I'm wondering if this is normal, if it's happening because the weather is changing, or if it happened because I changed their food. I have 4 hens altogether. The others haven't started laying yet.

We were getting one egg a day from the leghorn, but we haven't gotten one for at least a week now. Is this normal?

Welcome to BYC!

I assume that the birds are all about 6 months old?

Some more info would be helpful.

What was the feed change that you made?

Are they eating the new food?

Do you free range?

Great article on VENTILATION, one of THE MOST IMPORTANT aspects of coop design.

Fantastic treatise to help decide how much SPACE your chickens need.

Chicken math is not just 'addition'...but also should include Division, Multiplication and especially Subtraction!!!
