Hello Everyone,
I have recently finished building a pond for my soon to be ducks and I am now moving on to the coop construction. I am only going to have 2 ducks but I plan on building a rather large coop so I can also store bedding, food supplies etc. With this in mind, I was at Lowes the other day and came across there new wood shed offerings. This is what I am considering:
Purchasing the following shed from Lowes:

It is 8x4 and is about 6-7 ft tall. It is made of plywood, 2x4's, and engineered wood for siding. This shed does not come with a floor, but I have a concrete pad outside where the pond is built. I would put hardware cloth on all interior surfaces and cut out some windows for ventilation. (again covered in hardware cloth) I would also make sure that there was drainage for the inevitable mess that will happen.
As far as size goes, there is plenty for two duckies, and the 7 foot high sides I can easily put some shelves up for supplies.
I have gift cards for lowes which is why I am considering this route but I am open to suggestion.
Comments, concerns criticisms?
Thanks in advance.
