I have this chick that was hatched here (with other ones of other parents) the mom was a barred (im thinking mixed after i read a couple posts) and the dad was a easter egger. Both fairly big chickens. Anyways, this chick is 14weeks old today, and he is tiny?i was told he was a cockerel, but im starting to actually wonder lol. He has no comb, nor pointy feathers on neck, he is 1/3 of the size of all my other hatchlings hatched that day. He also has no tail. What do you think it is? Cockerel or pullet?

Yep, the barring came from mom, and it SHOULD be male.. The comb is modified because you crossed a pea comb EE with a single comb BR, so that accounts for the tiny, but red, comb... The size is probably attributed to vigor; the runt of the batch, not a breeding specimen, for sure :(... The tail? Weird.... That might be an actual Ameracauna trait popping out from the cross with the EE.

He's cute! :D
