Roo or pullet? Really small

I agree he's a sex link male. Honestly, he looks very unthrifty and please don't use him for breeding...as a pet for you he's fine.
 
Dad is pretty! Do you have any full body photos of him? With that crest, he looks like he might be a legbar mix. It is hard to say from your photo what pattern he has but there could be barring there. I have two buff colored hens that are barred... But you can hardly tell by looking at them. They produce barred male offspring though.

i would defenetly NOT use him for breeding, my hen went broody and i just let her cover 4 eggs, we have 9 chicken total and our coop is not big enough to accomodate any more:) and i mean he looks extra special lol

thats the only full body pic i have of him and thats when we had first got him for free off a friend, he was always getting beaten by another rooster
