HELP - Watch the VIDEO - Our OEG bantam hen acts like she's trying to cough or choke

We swabbed her throat for gape worm and didn't find any tiny red worms. From what I've read, gape worm would be pretty rare. She's been doing this all morning so not sure she is just clearing her crop. If you have the sound on for the video, you can her her make a little peep when she gasps. The sneeze at the end is my daughter - not the chicken, lol.

Sorry I can't help you. I sure hope someone will look at your video & help you. She sure is a pretty girl.

Aw poor thing! I had a hen do this recently but unfortunately she didn't make it. I believe hers was due to some kind of respiratory illness.

Is she/has she been sneezing? Any nasal discharge or watery eyes? Is she still eating and drinking?

If you haven't already, I would separate her just in case.

It might also be something to do with her crop which I am less familiar with.

Sorry I can't be much more help than that! Hopefully someone else has better insight.
