they sure look like roos to me! what do you guys think?

I agree the combs are a bit large, but at 6 weeks I usually see red color on my cockerels, and these are still a nice fleshy pink. I'd wait it out another few weeks and see how things look.

thanks so much for the reassurance! it would be odd since they were "sexed" but it does happen and altho one has quite a bit of smut down its back (to me, but i have not had delawares before) both their combs are the same...they do look a little red to me...i will call it pink for now!

well, 8 weeks now and the "white" one getting the smut on back and upon looking closely BOTH have barred tails under the white feathers. One is faintly marked on the back the other quite a lot. Both come right up to me to be picked up....the heavily marked one is quite a bit larger. is the barred tail a defining characteristic for the roos?? i think against all odds i got two roos from the feed store. so heartbroken! i have never had such tame chicks ever, esp when raised by a broody mom....
