Were on day 29 with my duck & Turkey eggs.  So far nothing. no peeps no movement, when I candled they hadpretty big air cells.  how late can duck eggs go? 5 days like chickens? I've got two thermometers in the bator one thats got a wire to the inside and one thats actually in there they are both positioned right next to eachother one says 100 degrees, 71 % humidity the other says 97.6, 53 humidity.  I have added tons of water sponges socks everything but the humidity doesn't move.  Crystal

29 days is not long. Depending on the type of duck, some go 35 days. Try to be patient....I know, its hard...I am crossing my fingers for you...  fl   Keep us posted! Have you candled them lately??

I candled them on the 27 day, good looking air cells but they are blue eggs that are very thick (aistralian spotted) and I can't see much else.  I was worried because it looked like there was a small air cell attached to the bigger one in two of the eggs I thought they might have pipped the cell then died.  But I've not heard anything at all coming from the bator.  I've also got royal palm eggs in with them and they are the same way too hard to see anything.  we were really hoping that the turkeys and ducks would hatch.  Save myself the $50 shipping fe from heroldreds next year.  Crystal

If it was me...and believe me, I have been there with Duck eggs...I would just waite another week. Unless you get the funky smell. Im not sure on turkey eggs tho. I havent yet tried them. My Royal Palm turkeys are about 17 weeks old...I plan on letting them do the work, next spring.  fl

I've got bronzed turkeys a little bit younger then that as well.  We were hoping to haev two breeds next year(though if these babies are broad brested they won't mate) So we were really hoping to have some that would definatly mate.  Theres a person north of me who hatches them I might have to give them a call.  Crystal
