Looks like a pullet so far. In about another week you'll be certain if the comb doesn't turn red but at 5.5 weeks it should be turning if cockerel.
 
I'm also thinking pullet at this point. If it's comb turns red within the next few weeks, you will know we were wrong and you have a cockerel. :eek:)

I'm also thinking pullet, but I'm not thinking Leghorn. she looks too thick bodied, and I'd expect more comb. I'm thinking white Rock.
 
Wow, good eye! I looked back through my pictures to see her egg color, and its brown. So you're probably right! (We got her from our biology lab so we had no idea what breed she is).

If it hatched from a brown egg, it's definitely a White Rock rather than a White Leghorn.
